About Hayley Ninnis
A psychology undergraduate at The Pennsylvania State University, Hayley Ninnis seeks to combine her psychological training with her background in art and yoga. Experienced in Hot Power Yoga and Aerial Yoga, she is interested in augmenting the methods of formal psychological treatment with the holistic approach of integrative yoga therapy. Through Power Yoga Works in Malvern, Pennsylvania, Hayley Ninnis will soon complete certification for teaching Power Vinyasa Yoga. Formerly a student at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, she also enjoys using art therapy to assist people coping with emotional and mental difficulties.
In addition to studying the plastic arts at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Ms. Ninnis has completed two glassblowing classes at East Falls Glassworks, where she fashioned objects including paperweights, cups, and vases. Previously, she worked for the eponymous company of Irish-American glassblowing and ceramics entrepreneur Simon Pearce.
Also concerned for the welfare of animals, Hayley Ninnis owns a rescue dog named Marley and recently adopted an Airedale terrier named Harper. She enjoys baking, studying astronomy, making tie-dye clothing, and adding to her vintage book collection. Ms. Ninnis plans on pursuing an MBA upon completion of her undergraduate degree.
